You know the situation. There's a box — maybe in the loft, maybe in the garage, maybe under the bed — full of comics. They've been there for years. You have a vague feeling some of them might be worth something, but you genuinely have no idea what you've got. So they just sit there.
I hear this constantly from people who message me about selling. They're not sure if their collection is worth £50 or £500. They don't know if they've got anything special. They don't know what era they're from, who published them, whether the condition is good or not. And because they don't know, they don't do anything.
So I built something to fix that.

How it works
It's genuinely simple. Lay your comics out so the covers are visible — a stack on a table, spread across the floor, whatever works. Then take up to six photos and upload them. The AI reads every cover, identifies each comic, and builds you a proper catalogue.
- Lay them out. Spread your comics on a flat surface so the covers are visible. You don't need to photograph them individually — a spread of 10 or 20 covers in one shot works perfectly.
- Take up to six photos. Different angles, different sections of your collection. The more angles you give it, the more it can identify.
- Upload and scan. Takes about 10 seconds. No account, no email, nothing to install.
- Get your catalogue. A full breakdown of what you own — every identified comic, what era it's from, estimated condition, and an overall collection grade.
What you actually get back
This isn't just a list. It's a proper collection profile — the kind of thing a dealer would put together after going through your boxes by hand.

Why I built this
Honestly? Because the most common thing I hear from people who contact me about selling is "I don't really know what I've got." And that's a problem — for them, because they can't make an informed decision about selling, and for me, because I'm going in blind.
This tool changes that. You find out what you've got. I get a heads-up that you might be interested in selling. And if you do want an offer, I already have some context about your collection before we even speak.
What to do if you find something interesting
The scanner gives you the catalogue — what you've got, what condition it's in, what era it's from. What it deliberately doesn't give you is a valuation. That's because a proper valuation needs eyes on the actual books — photos of individual issues, spine condition, staples, centrefold.
If your scan comes back looking interesting and you're thinking about selling, the next step is simple. Send me a few photos of the individual books you want to know about and I'll give you an honest, no-pressure valuation based on what they're actually selling for right now.
Not a price guide figure. Not a guess. What they're actually selling for on Whatnot and eBay this week.
